Who We Serve

Property owners, custom builders, and developers needing water, electrical, or sewer lines installed, replaced, or tied in to existing service.

Problems we solve

We trench, install, and connect utility lines so the rest of the build runs on schedule and the lines underneath stay quiet for 30+ years.

Good Utility Work Is the Kind You Forget Is There

After the sod goes down and the slab cures, nothing about your water, electrical, or sewer lines should give you trouble for decades. Quality has to start from the ground up. We trench, install, and tie in utilities so the rest of your property runs without anyone thinking about what’s underneath.

Where Most Utility Calls Start

Most utility calls fall into one of these patterns. If yours does, we’ve handled it before.

You’re Building New and Need Utility Trenching

The site prep is starting and the utilities need to go in before backfill. You need a crew that handles water, electrical conduit, and sewer trenching all in one pass.

Your Water Line Just Failed

The water bill spiked. The yard has a wet spot. The pressure dropped. Whatever the symptom, you’ve got a line under your property that needs replacing, and you need someone who can do it without tearing up the rest of the yard.

You’re Adding Power and Water to an Outbuilding

You’re building a workshop, barn, or ADU and you need utility lines run from the main house. You need someone who’ll trench cleanly, set the right depth, and coordinate with your electrician and plumber.

You’re Connecting to City Sewer for the First Time

Your property is annexing into city service, the septic finally failed and you’re tying into the sewer line, or you’re upgrading to a public connection. You need someone who knows the local hookup specs.

Your Sewer Line Backed Up Once Too Often

Roots, breaks, or just age. The line under your yard needs replacing, the permit needs pulling, and the yard needs to come back together when it’s done.

You’re a Builder Coordinating Multiple Trades

The plumber, electrician, and inspector all need access in a specific order. You need a utility trenching sub who can hold the schedule and won’t leave anyone waiting.

What Others Say About Us

Utility Questions We Get All The Time

Do I need a permit for utility trenching?

Most underground utility work requires a permit, especially anything tied to public services like water mains or sewer connections. Permitting requirements vary by city and county. We pull the permits and handle inspection coordination, with specifics laid out in your written quote.

How long does utility trenching take?

Standard residential utility trenching runs anywhere from one to several days depending on length, depth, and what’s being installed. New construction packages with multiple lines take longer because of inspection points and coordination with other trades. The written quote includes a clear timeline.

Do you coordinate with the electrician and plumber?

Yes. Most utility trenching jobs require timing with the electrician’s conduit pull, the plumber’s connections, or the city inspector’s site visit. We handle the schedule so the trades following us aren’t waiting on open trenches.

Will the yard be torn up?

Trenching disturbs the ground along the line route. We minimize the footprint, work in narrow corridors where possible, and backfill and compact properly so the yard settles cleanly. Final landscape restoration isn’t part of our scope. We leave the site ready for someone who does that work

Do you handle sewer line replacement?

Yes. Most of our sewer line work is either replacement of failed lines or new connections to city service. We pull the permits, handle the trenching, install the new line, and coordinate inspection.

Do you handle commercial utility work?

Yes. We hold GC and public works licenses, which covers most residential and small commercial utility work across Kootenai and Bonner Counties. Send us your project details and we’ll quote it.
